Diego Hidalgo

Diego Hidalgo Demeusois

Founder and CEO

Diego previously worked at the Clinton Foundation, where he helped manage the Sustainable Growth and the Climate Initiative and the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) and was responsible for briefing President Clinton on international issues and foreign leaders. He also worked for Concordia21, a foundation dedicated to social development and humanitarian aid, where he was responsible for the development of the “Future of Spain” initiative. He is a recipient of the 2012 Young Social Entrepreneurs Award, and has been selected as a Young European Leader of 2012 by the Atlantik Forum. He is a graduate from Sciences Po (Paris) and the University of Cambridge, where he wrote his thesis on social networks, and speaks French, Spanish, English, Italian, and German.

A graduate in multimedia communication from Juan Carlos University, Carlos’ studies specialized in social networks & online marketing. Carlos has also studied social media communication at EUDE and with the UNED Foundation.

Jef Cozza

Jef is the former product head of Wealthmonitor US at Mergermarket, a business intelligence startup that was acquired by the Financial Times Group in 2007. Jef was also the editor for Environmental Leader, and online news organization covering environmental issues in the business world. Previously, Jef also worked in the marketing and investor relations departments of JPMorgan Partners. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Rubén studied graphic design in Alicante and has lead several design studios specializng in web design, motion graphics, and live event production.

A graduate in telecommunications engineering from Carlos III University in Madrid specializing in mobile applications development, Adrian has been carpooling since he was a kid.

José María Figueres

José María Figueres

Founding associate

As a former president of Costa Rica (1994-1998), President Figueres has always had a special interest in technological solutions to climate change. Through his work in both the public and private sectors, President Figueres has been at the forefront in confronting the challenges presented by climate change. He was also CEO of the World Economic Forum (2000-2005), and is currently the President of Richard Branson’s Carbon War Room. He is a graduate from Harvard and the US Military Academy at West Point.
